RECLAMATION Services

What we deliver

Newpark Reclamation Services offers cradle to grave options. From site construction through to restoration, we can provide whatever is needed along the way to properly construct, restore and close a site, be it on freehold, Crown or First Nations land.

Construction

Plan for success: The best time to engage reclamation services is before lease construction begins. The more we know about the development of a well, the better we can eliminate common problems at closure (like missing or conflicting data). Newpark Reclamation Services offer pre-construction assessments that include:

         ·   Baseline vegetation and soil quality data
         ·   Proximity to water bodies and water wells
         ·   Identification of and recommendations on possible drilling
             waste disposal areas
         ·   Documentation of contour and drainage patterns
         ·   On Crown land, we also deliver Environmental Field Reports

Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)

The Newpark Reclamation Services team offers expert knowledge of drilling waste disposal and past industry practices, and we know exactly what it takes to get a reclamation certificate issued on a site. And we guarantee our timelines for Phase I ESAs.

For Phase I ESAs, we thoroughly examine all records, including tour sheets, air photos and databases, and interview landowners to draw a complete information picture. This thorough review process means most sites do not require a Phase II ESA for successful closure. However, should a site need to move to Phases II or III, we can expertly remediate, reclaim and close the site in a timely, cost-effective manner.

The Newpark difference

Newpark's Reclamation Services are unique in the industry in five ways.

1. Capacity
We have it. We complete hundreds of Phase I ESAs every year and guarantee a timeline for each one. Reclamation services are a core part of our business and we are dedicated to delivering efficient, reliable service.

2. Knowledge
We employ high quality people with the right credentials to do the work. Every member of our staff either has their Canadian Certified Environmental Practitioner (CCEP) designation, or is a Canadian Environmental Practitioner in Training (CEPIT). It means our clients have access to some of the best people in the business.

3. Insight
We have an excellent rapport with regulators and landowners. In fact, we are often involved in the development of disposal regulations, and bring this unique insight to every reclamation project we undertake.

4. Delivery
Consistently delivering on our promises to our clients is a driving principle at Newpark Environmental Services. Ultimately, delivery to us means getting a reclamation certificate for you in as timely a manner as possible. And if a site must go beyond a Phase I ESA,   we are ready and equipped to work through Phases II and III toward a successful conclusion.

5. Results
We work closely with clients to get a clear picture of their risk and liability position and move towards effective resolution. We deliver excellent service at a competitive price, and we always stand behind our work.

STRAIGHT TALK on reclamation

For many producers, successful reclamation ends with a reclamation certificate being issued on a site. Getting that certificate, however, can be a challenging and time consuming process.

Newpark Environmental Services can help. From site assessment and construction through to final restoration, we deliver top-notch expertise, quality, timeliness and reliability on every reclamation project we undertake.

We make the reclamation process as painless and straight-forward as possible. We do that by continuously staying on top of the ever-changing regulatory environment so that we can effectively and efficiently manage reclamation programs to closure, apply for the reclamation certificate, reduce Licensee Liability Ratio (LLR), lease costs and overall liability for the companies we serve.

For solutions that work

In an environment of greater scrutiny by an increasing number of stakeholders, it is becoming more important than ever to demonstrate corporate responsibility to regulators, landowners and the public.

At Newpark Environmental Services we understand this. We specialize in reclamation solutions, drilling waste disposal, site remediation, bio-remediation and spill response. We are regarded as industry leaders with our people being among the best educated, most knowledgeable and experienced in the reclamation field. Our goal is to provide our clients with the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective reclamation solution on every project. Count on us for expert knowledge, capacity and quality.
